I let the beads I made using the polyester casting resin sit for about a week. I used vegetable oil to line the mold I used, and I think it had a negative affect on the beads because it took them a bit longer than it should have to stop being sticky.
Things I learned from this- make sure to measure exactly what the directions say to. Some things you just shouldn't eyeball. If it says use a certain spray, don't assume your store brand light cooking spray will suffice. Also, sprinkles are great on most foods, but melt in caustic chemicals.
